DinnerBird is being built for the ordinary complexity behind a household meal: what is already in the kitchen, who is eating, how much time is available, what needs using, and what the week can afford.
The pantry comes first.
A useful plan should notice food already at home before creating another shopping list.
The household decides.
DinnerBird proposes meals and organizes needs. People approve meals, review products, and make purchases.
Accuracy beats confidence.
When a quantity, substitution, or product match is uncertain, DinnerBird should make that uncertainty visible.
What we are building
From an approved plan to a shorter, reviewable grocery list.
DinnerBird is designed to learn a household’s practical constraints, propose a small number of dinners, and combine the missing ingredients only after those meals are approved.
The product remains in private development. Public availability, retailer support, and specific features may change as we test what is reliable and useful.
